Terms of Service

These terms outline the legal relationship between Logly, homeowners, and service professionals. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these agreements.

Summary of Key Obligations

Customer

Must be 18+, provide valid payment info, and treat pros with respect.

Pro

Must maintain valid licenses/insurance and complete jobs to industry standards.

Platform

Acts as a neutral marketplace; not responsible for individual pro conduct.

1. Eligibility & Account Creation

To use the Logly platform, you must be at least 18 years old and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. You represent that you are not currently barred from receiving services under applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and for any compliance with local laws.

Pro Requirements: Professionals must possess a valid Driver's License, proof of liability insurance, and valid local trade licenses (e.g., state contractor license board). They must have no felony convictions in the last 7 years.

Account Verification

Both customers and pros must verify their identity using a government-issued ID. Pro accounts are subject to a manual review process that typically takes 2-3 business days.

Customer Terms

2. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to book services for yourself or your property only. You must provide accurate details regarding the issue, address, and access requirements. Logly is not responsible for cancellations due to inaccurate information provided at booking time.

Payment is processed immediately upon confirmation. A service fee applies to all bookings (typically 15-25%). Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days if the pro cancels within 24 hours or if the service is deemed "materially incomplete."

You must treat all Logly professionals with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or any illegal activity is strictly prohibited. Logly reserves the right to ban users who violate this policy without a refund of unused service fees.

Pro Terms

3. Professional Requirements

Pros must maintain all required local and state licenses, permits, and insurance (liability and workers' comp). They must arrive within the agreed-upon window and complete the job to industry standards. Logly reserves the right to revoke credentials upon evidence of non-compliance.

Logly charges a service fee (typically 15-25%) on every booking. Pros are paid via direct deposit 7-10 business days after a job is marked "Complete" and reviewed favorably by the customer.

Accounts may be suspended immediately for policy violations, low customer ratings (below 4.0), or failure to complete jobs. Suspended accounts have earnings held for a 90-day dispute resolution period.

4. Logly’s Role as a Marketplace

Logly is an online platform that facilitates the connection between homeowners and independent service professionals. We are not the employer of the professionals listed on our site.

Logly does not control the manner or means by which the professionals perform their services. You agree that Logly is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the services provided by the professionals.

Independent Contractors

Pros are independent contractors responsible for their own taxes, equipment maintenance, and business operations.

5. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

IN NO EVENT SHALL LOGLY, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, OR INTERNS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE PLATFORM; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE PLATFORM; (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM; AND (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
